I love touches of red, especially in little boys rooms. My first inclination is to always paint a room grey, but I really admire the way that Jonathan Adler is so unafraid of color. I would never think to make an entire room red, but it looks great! But if you are hesitant to make such a commitment, like me, a red chair or roman shade make quite a statement.
